These classes are designed to enhance self-confidence, social interaction, and creative expression. Encouraging our young actors to explore the depths of their imaginations through their voices and bodies is the core of our programs at Youth Theatre Northwest. Classes may be repeated, as each individual class curriculum is always new and different.

Ages are as of June 1, 2008 and children must be fully potty-trained.

Come with us on an all-new journey to a world that has never been seen before. The kids in this class will create this world every day, ehile learning to focus their energy and imaginations. There are characters to meet, problems to solve, and adventures to be had. Don't forget that every week brings an entirely new adventure! An active imagination is a plus in this class, so bring us your kids for an unforgettable experience!

Calling all super heroes, monsters, brave-hearts, and more! This week we will create our own out-of-sight adventure to save the world! We will use theatre games to discover our secret identities and super powers as we weave our own stories of good versus evil in a week that is sure to thrill!

A great introduction to what we do here at Youth Theatre Northwest, Stars on Stage is a fun week designed to show every child what itÕs like to be in a play. We will stage stories, create characters, and work together as a team to create a show that will make your little stars shine!

DoesnÕt every child want to jump right into a book and go exploring? That is exactly what we do in Tale Spin. Each day we will explore all aspects of either a storybook or a story that we create, using the five senses. There will be things to touch, smell, create, and more! Our favorite tales will be performed on the Blue Room Stage on the last day of class

This class is open to all kids who want to stay after Super Kids and shake out their wiggles and jiggles, or for kids who just need an hour away from the house for some physical dramatic activity. The kids in the class will get to express their feelings and ideas through creative story telling and lots of movement and imagination!

Spend a week inside your favorite fairytale! Traditional tales come alive on our Blue Room stage to amuse and delight one and all. Spend a week as a princess, queen, knight, king, or a terrible fire-breathing dragon! Students use their imaginations to create characters, tell stories, and work together as a team to solve problems that dragons, knights and princesses might find along the way. DonÕt miss this all-new adventure!

This week the circus hits YTN as campers create three rings of crazy fun! Your child will amaze you with feats of skill, acts of bravery, and daringly dramatic hilarity as we transform campers into acrobats, lion tamers, dancing bears, and clowns! Skills developed will be character creation, balance, teamwork and focus! See you at the circus!

Pack your bags, because we will be traveling around the world this week! We will be reading stories and creating crafts from different cultures. Then we will take an adventure to every land using our imagination and teamwork skills. DonÕt miss the boat!
