The Conservatory Programs are usually multi-quarter programs that are designed to provide:
- Work in skill-based classes
- More training in the complete process of stage production
- A focus upon theatre education and how it ties into production

SUMMER CONSERVATORY PROGRAMS

Actor's Conservatory Training (A.C.T.)
(10 - 13 year olds, skill based)
Returning for our third summer, this two-week, daylong intensive actor-training program is designed to enhance and fine-tune the tools that every actor needs - from basic acting to specialized skills. Mornings in A.C.T. will be spent refining basic acting skills, monologues, scene study, and auditioning abilities. Each afternoon will focus upon a new specialty: voice, puppetry, movement, stage combat, Classics/play analysis, musical theatre, clowning, and improvisation. Guest artists will be on hand to teach each specialty area. Each A.C.T. session will finish with a two-night cabaret-style showcase.
*Auditions are required and will be held in conjunction with auditions for the Mainstage Summer Stock Season. A private audition may be scheduled if Summer Stock auditions are missed. Please call (206) 232-4145 x 106 to make a private audition appointment.
