Youth Theatre Northwest offers five professionally directed plays or musicals during the school year on its Mainstage at its Mercer Island location. Seeing actors their own age on stage will inspire your students. Shows run approximately 1 to 2 hours.
PRICE: $7 per person (includes a complete Teacher's Study Guide that can be used before or after your class visit)
Weekday matinees at 10:00 am and 12:15 pm are available for:
Robin Hood & His Merry Band (November 5 and 13)
Fiddler on the Roof (March 11 and 19)
The Wizard of Oz (April 29 and May 7)
Into the Woods (June 3 and 8)
Romeo & Juliet (January 28 and February 5)
Youth Theatre also offers two plays on its Studio Stage, a more intimate theatre, each school year. Studio Stage plays are shorter (an hour, more or less), ideal for younger audiences. In 2008-2009, YTN is proud to present:
Jack & the Beanstalk (December 5 and 8)
Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse (May 14 and 17)
